The millennium year, 2000, saw for the first time, in Belgium, a club founded for classic Cadillac & LaSalle cars.
Cadillac, “The Standard of the World” and LaSalle, a companion-car to Cadillac, built by Cadillac between 1927 and 1940.
The original purpose of the Club was to bring owners and lovers of these cars together, and let them share their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for these fine cars.
Providing information, helping to find spare parts and organising meetings, are some of the goals we aim to make available for our members.
2001, was the year we became an official affiliate of the famous Cadillac & La Salle Club USA. Today, we both organise and participate in European meetings. We no longer merely drive our Cadillacs around the block!
In the Cadillac LaSalle Club of Belgium, an official Belgian-registered club, you will find a whole range of different Cadillac models, representing many years (between 1928 and 2007).
The day-to-day running of the club is in hands of a few enthusiastic people, namely:
Francois Simons, Diana D’havé, Diana Thys, Lucien Wuestenbergs and Ludo Slegers.
They in turn, also enjoy the support of several “behind-the-scenes” helpers.
Since its foundation, the Club has become a real friendship organization, lead by a “Cadillac-LaSalle” team, tirelessly spending much of their free time organising meetings for the club members.
